Garth Brooks and Troy Aikman Announce their next Child Life Zone

At the opening of the Child Life Zone in Denver, Colorado, Garth Brooks, the American music star who as sold more music than any other performer, announced in front of thousands that his Teammates for Kids Foundation had committed to open its next Zone in Israel. Troy Aikman, former Dallas Cowboys Hall of Fame quarterback, added that his Troy Aikman Foundation is partnering with Brooks to support the Sheba Zone project.
American Friends of Sheba Medical Center Chairman, Helene Feldman stated, “this exciting partnership with Garth Brooks and Troy Aikman to build and operate a Child Life Zone at Sheba adds immense credibility to Israel’s premier medical center, now recognized by two American icons as The Hospital Without Boundaries. We’re thrilled.”
Garth Brooks enthusiastically stated the mission of his foundation is to provide for a safe atmosphere where hospitalized kids can be kids without the rigors of treatment imposed on their free spirits. To emphasize his personal commitment to Sheba Garth Brooks said, “children know no flags,” referring to the unprejudiced, personal connection all children make with one another.
During the week of May 23rd, Mira Bar-Mashiah, President of American Friends of Sheba and Chairman, Helene Feldman are leading a mission of U.S. business leaders and philanthropists including the President of Garth Brooks Foundation and a partner of Troy Aikman to meet with Professor Zeev Rotstein and key Sheba Children’s staff to conclude planning for the Child Life Zone.
